Impact of Made in Jesus

  • The Lemonade Boys

After being ignited in faith from the trailer of Made in Jesus and the MiJ team sharing a powerful message and evangelism training, we took some youth to the streets to share Jesus. We met “the lemonade boys” - 2 local year 7 boys passionate about their lemonade stand. We invited them to run their lemonade stand at our Made in Jesus launch.

The launch party was so incredible - fired up with episode 3, worship, Pat preaching the gospel, youth laying their lives down at the cross, praying over our schools, singing out “Every Aussie school for Jesus”, commissioning the youth to be Jesus’ ambassadors, giving out Bibles an more.

So many testimonies, but one of our favourite, was our lemonade boys - who had their awesome stall and joined us for our watch party and at the end of the night when we were packing up, asked to get baptised and gave their lives to Jesus. Their whole family were also there and so impacted and celebrated in their baptism and got connected in community.

  • Kirsten Weston- Fire Youth Leader

Hosting ‘Made in Jesus’ really touched the heart of our young people. We had parents in our community bring their 4 teenagers for the first time to youth on the night we had the privilege of hosting Pat Steele and the ‘Made in Jesus’ team.

All 4 of them said yes to Jesus and they have been attending youth and Sunday church ever since hosting ‘Made in Jesus’. That night also ignited a passion for prayer among our youth group that has continued to burn ever since. Our youth are now going to learn how to share their faith with friends. A Fire has been started that is continuing to burn. We are so grateful for God using this film to awaken this generation for this time in history.

  • Teacher, Toowoomba Christian School

We showed this video as part of our evangelism training program to young people, it prompted a lot of discussion around praying for healing and how simple the sharing of the gospel can be. This video showed our young people that sharing the gospel isn’t complicated, it’s the simplicity of the gospel message going out to all the nations. This video helped show our young people what it’s like to share the gospel message and inspired them to think ‘If they can do it, so can I’.

  • Amelia (Year 9)

Evangelism training & Made in Jesus helped me to share about my faith and focusing on others more, having evangelism at the forefront of my mind and the regular thought of “How can I share with others?” is one of the things I took away from doing this training. It was really great to be encouraged to go out and share, to be bold and to pray for opportunities to share about my faith and about Jesus with others, intentionally starting those conversations. I definitely pray more regularly now and ask God to show me who to share about him with. It’s been good learning to prioritise the intentionality to share about Jesus with others. It was because of this training that I started writing scripture on post it notes and put them on peoples lockers at school. I’m so grateful we had this opportunity at our school to do this kind of training.

  • Jacob (Year 11)

Before doing this training and watching Made in Jesus I hadn’t really openly shared about my faith with anyone other than my friends and other Christians. It was because of this training that I had the boldness to tell service station attendants that Jesus loves them. I wouldn’t have done that without this training, I always knew the importance of sharing about Jesus but I just didn’t know how to and honestly was a bit afraid, but I realised through this training that there isn’t anything to be afraid of because He has overcome, He is the light of the world and it’s my job to point people to Him, if I’m not then who is?

  • Maria (Year 7)

I loved evangelism training & Made in Jesus! I hope we can keep doing it! I use social media now to share scripture with people.

  • Grace (Year 7)

Evangelism training and Made in Jesus has impacted me in many great ways! Some of which are helped boost my confidence, helped to me share Jesus’ wonderful work, and helped fill a part of me with happiness! A part of evangelism training that I have enjoyed are the training days. I really enjoy when we can learn about Jesus’ wonderful work and also learn how to share that in interesting ways! When I started evangelism training I really wanted to share the work of Jesus with others, but I didn’t really know how to, but now towards the end of evangelism training for this term, if have learnt lots of new ways to share Jesus with others! On the morning of a Wednesday when we were on the way to school, we stopped to get fuel. Mum filled up the car and I went in to pay for the fuel. When I walked in I knew that the cashier at 7-Eleven was THE person to share Jesus’ love with. So after I’d paid I said “Jesus loves you,” and he said “Thankyou” then I ran out of 7-Eleven and into our car, and I was very happy and a feeling of accomplishment filled me!

You are a chosen generation, a chosen nation, for such a time as this

I have decided to follow Jesus…

Best decision ever!

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.
